An experimental film crafted around Placebo’s song, “Too Many Friends,” the film explores the obsessive use of mobile devices and social media apps in current day society, and the social seclusion that results. Characters are referenced by their fictitious social media handles, further dehumanising them.
The film is constructed around staged footage as well as street footage of random passersby.
