Singapore has a unique relationship between urban and natural spaces. In our land-scarce city, large effort has been put into the preservation of natural spaces. Every street is lined with trees that shelter pedestrians from the sun. Every pocket of non-cemented ground conscientiously covered in grass.

Almost all the land in Singapore has been touched by man. Despite all our large ‘natural’ parks and their interconnected network, these bodies of nature have all been manicured and curated by man, and bears his mark.

Nature(?) explores the interaction between man and nature in Singapore, through the marks we leave on our natural spaces.
